Almost all materials in one way or another mention the general “dampness” of the game, which manifests itself in the dominance of bugs, visual errors and poor performance — even on powerful computer systems, the novelty cannot boast of high speed, and on the Xbox Series X | S everything is limited to 30 frames per second with a general scarcity of the picture, which is inferior in some points to the projects of the previous generation ten years ago.
Finally, big questions also arose about Redfall’s overall budget. — the story is partially presented through dozens of audio files, and the “wooden” setting of the cutscenes is bewildering. Many journalists write that they do not understand the pricing logic of this game with such content and technical part — for the first time in Xbox history, it costs $70.
Defenders of Redfall, in turn, note that it is fun to play, and the addictiveness of the basic gameplay – the main plus. Others remind that the game will be developed according to the service model, so in the future it can change a lot, and problems with AI will be fixed with patches.
