“Red Youth” opens its career in the West Asian Volleyball Championship

Today, Friday, our national youth volleyball team will open its first West Asian volleyball championship, born in 2003, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 22 to 31 July. 1:30 Kingdom of Bahrain time at Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Sports Hall in Dhahran, and our Bahraini volleyball team is led by Tunisian coach Saber Abdel Wahed, and the red list includes 12 players: Hassan Al Warqa, Sayed Hashem Issa, Hassan Aliwi, Hussein Abdel Reda, Sadiq Marhoon, Hussein Ali, Abbas Ehsan, Reda Matrook, Sayed Ahmed Mortada, Ali Habib, Ali Al-Bosta, Ali Hussein.

Our national team had previously prepared for the tournament through an external camp held in Slovenia and Bulgaria. In Slovenia, it played four friendly matches with the youth teams of Austria and Iran, and the Slovenia national team for juniors. In Bulgaria, “Red Youth” played three confrontations with the Bulgarian youth team.

In the remaining confrontations of the first day, the Palestinian team will meet with Qatar, the Saudi host team will meet with its Syrian counterpart, and the UAE will meet with Jordan.
