Analysis

This Saturday our Parisians met at Bauer, for the first derby of the 2024-2025 Ligue 2 BKT season. They knew how to impose their rhythm from the start of this intense derby against Red Star.

Thanks to well-orchestrated pressing and rapid circulation of the ball, Adama Camara opened the scoring for the visitors in the 20th minute, rewarding Parisian domination. However, Red Star reacted with combativeness and took advantage of a moment of defensive hesitation to equalize through Fodé Doucouré (32′).

The key moment of the match came just before half-time, when a calm Jean-Philippe Krasso converted a decisive penalty (45’+1), allowing the Parisians to return to the locker room with a precious advantage.

Returning from the locker room, the Parisian defense held on, notably thanks to a double saving save from Obed (50′). A few minutes later, Krasso scored his second goal (57′) after a nice combination with Gory, thus sealing a deserved victory for the Parisians. Despite Red Star’s efforts, they failed to reverse the trend against a compact and disciplined Parisian team.

This victory allows Paris FC to take provisional first place in the standings, thus consolidating their excellent start to the season and their ambition to remain at the top of the table.
