The US Central Command for the Middle East (Centcom) announced that its forces had launched an attack on a cruise missile that was regarding to be launched from an area of Yemen controlled by the Houthis.
According to the US forces, the missile would have been launched by the Houthis, targeting ships in Red Seaopen to her Yemeni.
With information from newsit, Centcom emphasized that the strike – which it said was carried out in self-defense – took place yesterday and was aimed at a portable anti-ship cruise missile (ASCM).
