The Red Dead Redemption series is considered one of the best game series in the gaming industry, without a doubt, and one of the company’s most popular titles Rockstar Distinctively, for this reason the series reached universities and became considered educational cultural content.
The University of Tennessee was able to gather voice actors for the characters Arthur And June In the Red Dead Redemption series in order to teach a subject related to American history, specifically teaching a dedicated class called Red Dead History that includes the history of the original cowboys through a session organized by a professor at the university called Tori Olson.
Red Dead Redemption turns into an educational material!
The aforementioned university professor prepared a special surprise for his students, as he invited voice actors for the characters Arthur And June From the series without his students’ knowledge to explain for themselves the American history represented by the series in the period between 1899 and 1911.

In the video above, which Olson posted, he shows how students were surprised by the appearance of both Clark and Wythoff as the voice actors of the mentioned characters. Clark then stated:
“To see what we worked on interpreted in this way academically is a real honour, and the fact that we are making history accessible to new audiences is something we never expected.”

There is a book to be published regarding the game called Red Dead History, which will be released next June, in which an audio version performed by Roger Clark will be available. It will contain more than 400 pages, as we mentioned in a previous news here.
