Red Dead Redemption II reaches 45 million copies sold

Tonight, Take Two Interactive held its new conference with investors to take stock of the last quarter. Once once more, the figures are quite satisfactory. Red Dead Redemption II continues to grow and now crosses the milestone of 45 million copies sold.

Red Dead Redemption II continues its good momentum and continues to flow million following million. The latest hit from Rockstar Games thus reached 45 million copies and consolidated its place in the top 10 best-selling video games in history. The latter thus contributes to the success of the Red Dead license, which now peaks at 68 million games sold since its launch in 2004 with Red Dead Revolver.

Red Dead Redemption II thus has the luxury of being in the second most profitable video game of the last five years in the United States. Take Two Interactive confirms that Rockstar Games will continue to support Red Dead Online in the coming months through special weeks, weekly bonuses, etc. In other words, Rockstar will continue to do what they have been doing for almost two years with Red Dead Online, the servers will be kept online, but new content and updates will no longer be expected as at the beginning.
