Red Bull Racing launches updated nose for RB18 / F1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix[F1-Gate .com]

Red Bull Racing is bringing an update to the RB18 for the 2022 F1 Round 2 Saudi Arabia Grand Prix.

Red Bull Racing, who lost to Scuderia Ferrari in both qualifying and racing at the opening round of the Bahrain Grand Prix, is trying to counterattack and bring an update to Saudi Arabia.

Working in the pits of Jeddah’s Red Bull Racing, the RB18 has an improved nose and a modified front air intake.

You can see that the “naked” nose is flatter and less rounded than before because the team coloring was not applied at the time the photo was taken.

In addition to fine-tuning the nose, the front wing has also been changed to lower the angle to the horizontal element, which is also narrower than before.

During Friday’s free practice session, Red Bull Racing will directly compare the drag levels of the high downforce version ran in Bahrain with the lowdownforce rear wing for the first time this weekend.

It’s not yet clear if the update is exclusive to Max Verstappen or if new parts will be introduced to teammate Sergio Perez.
