Red Bull and Aston Martin bury the hatchet

Red Bull Racing and Aston Martin have reached an agreement which will allow Dan Fallows to leave Milton Keynes earlier than planned.

The dispute between Red Bull Racing and Aston Martin over Dan Fallows’ notice period is now history.

The two teams have reached an amicable agreement which will allow the former chief aerodynamicist of Red Bull Racing to join Aston Martin, in his new role as technical director, from April 2.

« We would like to thank Dan for his many years of excellent service and wish him well for the future. Simply commented Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner in a statement.

Martin Whitmarsh, head of Aston Martin Performance Technologies, added: We are delighted to have reached an agreement with Red Bull releasing Dan early from his contract and we look forward to him joining our team soon. »

« I have had many happy years at Red Bull Racing and I am proud of what we have achieved together. I look forward to next season and this new challenge finally concluded the man who was at the center of this quarrel.
