Cultural institutions with offices in Caracas, Miranda and La Guaira, make available various activities for recreation and entertainment for the whole family, during the weekend. The activities scheduled for this Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27, include interesting exhibitions in museums, film series at the National Cinematheque, yoga, and dance therapy.
National Cinematheque
Hall Museum of Fine Arts (MBA), Los Caobos, Caracas:
On Saturday, August 26 at 1:00 in the followingnoon, the public will be able to enjoy the children’s film Anne and Brunowhile at 3:00 it will be screened Martin Luther King y el FBI. The children’s film will also be available at this venue Anne and Bruno (3:00 pm), as well as the feature film for the whole family, Vacation (5:00 pm).
Pdvsa La Estancia
PDVSA La Estancia, at its headquarters at La Floresta farm, Chacao municipality in Miranda state, two (2) activities will open the offer on Saturday, August 26, at 10:00 in the morning. These are the usual days of chess and yoga for beginners.
At 11:00 in the morning there will be a new yoga class. At the same time, the conversation “Color and wayuú knowledge” will begin, within the framework of Yonna Day, a traditional dance of the native people.

The activity, carried out by the National Center of Photography, will be this Saturday, August 26, from 9:00 in the morning to 12:00 noon.
To make the viewer, participants must bring a sheet of double-sided black cardboard, a piece of aluminum foil and a sheet of onion paper. Although the workshop is free, children must be registered by mail [email protected] and in Villa Teola.

The National Art Gallery (GAN) invites the Venezuelan people to enjoy the exhibition “Carlos Cruz-Diez: Color in two times”, which will be available on Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
In the room, attendees will be able to enjoy 134 works from the National Museums Foundation (FMN) Collection and eight (8) works from a private collection. There is also a Cromointerference environment and material designed, illustrated and supervised by the master of kinetic art, Carlos Cruz-Diez.
At the Carlos Cruz-Diez Print and Design Museum (MEDI), there will be a specialized guided tour, with the researcher Milena Matos, one of the curators participating in the exhibitions, on Saturday, August 26. The registration of participation must be done through the mail [email protected].
