Recovery of a heating oil transporter in Altmünster

On Wednesday followingnoon, the Altmünster fire brigade was called together with the comrades of the Reindlmühl fire brigade to a vehicle recovery of a heating oil transporter in the Fröhlichweg.

Due to the exposed location – a narrow access road and the softened ground – the vehicle was no longer able to free itself from its predicament. But before the salvage might begin, the 4,000 liters of fuel oil had to be pumped into a previously ordered tanker.

With the help of the Vöcklabruck fire brigade and the heavy crane vehicle, the TRUCK using cable winches and some substructure wood, can be pulled back onto solid ground. After a good 3 hours, the operation was completed and the 30 emergency services returned.
