Previously, this building, located in the central part of the city of Vilnius, housed the Management Protection Service (VAT). Having recently moved to renovated modern premises in New Town, T. Ševčenkos str. 13, the vacated premises were sold at auction.
The object sold in the center of Vilnius is located in a strategically convenient location, close to Lukiškių Square, Gedimino Ave. and Mount Taurus.
“This is the most expensive object sold at Turto Bank auctions this summer. We did not doubt the attractiveness of these premises from the very beginning, since there are not many objects of this size located in the central part of the city on the market at the moment. It is likely that their number will decrease even more in the future”, says Indrė Kajokienė, Head of the Property Sales Department of the Sales Department of Turto bankas.
The funds received for the property sold will be used to finance modernization projects carried out by Turto bankas.
In the next three years, Turto bankas plans to sell unnecessary assets to the state for 120 million. euros. The received funds, together with EU support and the funds borrowed by the state, will be invested in the construction, renovation, adaptation of state buildings for the disabled, energy efficiency and energy production measures.
