On January 12, it will be too late to hope to participate in one of the three main races of the Ultra trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB).
Pre-registrations for the OCC, the CCC and the UTMB, the three events serving as the final of the world circuit created by the UTMB group, will end on January 11 at 11:59 p.m., at the same time as the closing of the submission of files for the Little Trotte in Léon (PTL).
Announcements on January 16
The announcement of the teams which will take part in the PTL and the draw in force for the other races will then take place on Tuesday January 16.
But the organization has already announced that a record participation in pre-registrations has once once more been recorded. Proof that the event organized the last week of August in Chamonix and around the Mont-Blanc massif still attracts a growing number of runners, which will not please its detractors.
Trail enthusiasts will nevertheless note that places remain available on two of the four races which are not subject to a draw.
Bibs can therefore be collected for the terrible TDS and the YCC. The ETC and MCC, on the other hand, are already complete.
