He set that mark on October 29, 2018, in Chicago when he scored 52 points in Golden State’s 149-124 upset of the Bulls. Prior to Thompson’s 2018 performance, his former Warriors teammate Stephen Curry held the record with 13 3-pointers made (November 7, 2016 vs. New Orleans). Since then, two more players have made 13 3-pointers in a game, bringing the total to four.
