Friday, July 21, may have become a record day in St. Petersburg for the number of accidents on the water. Fontanka wrote regarding the wreck of a boat in Malaya Nevka and regarding a motor yacht in trouble in the Gulf of Finland.

The captain of the yacht Majesty 44 Vitaly and sailor Yakov said that they noticed an overturned jet ski in the bay, next to which there were a man and a teenager in the water.

According to preliminary data, the survivors spent regarding 20 minutes in the water before meeting with the yacht.

“We took them to the Yacht Club, from where they left on a hydra, we don’t know anything further, but they were met by employees,” the crew told Fontanka.

There is no information regarding the fate of the jet ski and the causes of the accident.

But one jet ski was pulled out of the bay on Friday. According to Fontanka, rescuers pulled a transport out of the water, which was drowned by two passengers. They themselves did not need medical assistance: once on the shore, both fled. Their data is set.
