Record-Breaking Train Sales: All Trains at 1€ for Young People Under 27 in Occitanie Region

Proposing all the trains liO at 1€ aux young people from under 27, from July 14 to August 15andt, the Occitanie Region bayou, once moreoverall attendance records. Cthis year, close Out of 800 000 tickets have been sold, be one progression of 38% par report summer 2022 (i.e. nearly 220 000 additional tickets) and a number multiplied by two in 2 years[1]. Un record nationalpproof of a real enthusiasm for this operation.

Carole DELGA, President of the Occitanie Region: “Once again, young people are leading by example. ! So much so that we have set a new record for train use with nearly 800 000 €1 tickets sold during the summer. These excellent results validate the strategy we are deploying in Occitania. The lower the price of the train, the more users respond. With real reason for satisfaction : 53% of young people took a LiO train for the first time. Proof that this price shock leads to a change of habit, among young people as well as all audiences. I would like to salute and thank the teams from the Region and the SNCF collectively mobilized to take up this challenge. The railway revolution is clearly at work in Occitania, it must have national repercussions. We continue !»

Occitania also recorded a new attendance record for these trains, all audiences combined, for the month of July : + 19% compared to summer 2022.
