Al-Muraikhi explained that the international deals for the fifth day, which amounted to 6 deals worth one billion and 23 million dirhams, included contracts with the Swedish company “SABB” to purchase detection radars for communication systems at a value of 145 million dirhams, and with the French company “Thales” to purchase detection radars at a value of 262 million dirhams. And with the Italian company “Electronica” to provide technical support and spare parts for communication devices worth 240 million dirhams, the Italian company “Leonardo” also concluded two deals, the first aimed to purchase VIP transport helicopters worth 259.5 million dirhams, and the second aimed to provide technical support for radars worth 70 million dirhams. International deals also included a contract with the American company “L3 Harris” to purchase microwave stations at a value of 46.7 million dirhams.
