The official report of the feria de Béziers is presented this Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the town hall of Béziers, but we already know the main trends. Attendance is much higher than last year.. hotel professionals save 80% occupancy rate in the agglomeration of Béziers alone with 180,000 overnight stays.
Unexpected attendance for many bodegas
The restaurateurs contacted do not hide their satisfaction. As for the bodegas, some had never served so many meals for years. In the space of two days, they had already made the recipe for 2022. This is particularly the case of the Joseph Lazare bodega created in 1990 and located on rue Voltaire, one of the oldest bodegas of the Béziers feria.

“We were forced to turn people away every night. It’s been seven years since we’ve had so many people.” says Michel Andreu, one of the 25 volunteers at this bodega located at 2 rue Voltaire. “What makes its success without a doubt its popular, family aspect, accessible to all”. The price of the meal has never increased since 2019: thirteen euros (dish-dessert-drink).
