The young Barcelonan made history for the Spanish team this Friday, once morest Georgia (7-1 victory). And rather twice than once…

Spain crushed Georgia 7-1 on Friday in Tbilisi to take second place in Group A of the Euro-2024 qualifiers, in a one-sided match where Barça prodigy Lamine Yamal, 16, became the youngest scorer in the history of La Roja.

Along the way, Luis de la Fuente’s players did their best in the first half, scoring four goals (22nd, 27th, 38th, 40th) thanks to Alvaro Morata and Dani Olmo. The Atlético Madrid striker scored a hat-trick in the second half while Georgia had reduced the score (47th), before Williams (68th) and especially Lamine Yamal (74th), who became the youngest scorer in the Roja’s history at 16, added two more goals. Spain thus moves back to second place in its group behind Scotland, with 6 points in three matches.
