Venezuela celebrates. Yulimar Rojas managed to prevail as the best in triple jump for the third consecutive World Championships in Athletics (indoors) in the early hours of this Sunday. The most prominent Venezuelan athlete in history continues to be successful in the best international competitions.
Yulimar started the competition strong and in her first jump she scored 15.19m. That first attempt was enough for him to lead the competition. When it seemed that it was all over following four more attempts, the last one (sixth) came and Yulimar crushed his own mark, also achieving the Indoor world record, with 15.74m. This record is considered the absolute mark of the discipline, so the 16 meter barrier is getting closer.

Yulimar’s second jump was a failure, so he kept the mark of his first jump until his last attempt.
In the third jump, Yulimar was far from the first, she managed to reach “only” 15.04, which continued to be one of the best marks but left her competing with the mark of her first attempt.
Yulimar’s fourth opportunity was also declared null, the Creole continued to lead the competition with her first appearance. On the penultimate attempt she powered up to 15.36m, leaving all the excitement for the final jump, following which she set 15.74m, the new indoor world record.
