Kamala Harris entered the presidential race against Donald Trump after current US President Joe Biden withdrew from his re-election bid. The agency notes that after the change, Democrats were flooded with a “flood of donations” after the inflow of funds “dried up” following Biden’s disastrous debate with Trump.

As the Polish Press Agency notes, from the beginning of her career in the San Francisco district attorney’s office to her current vice presidency, Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has repeatedly blazed trails as a black and Indian woman. Despite initial skepticism within her own party, she has become a political star who gathers crowds in just a few weeks.

Despite her status as the No. 2 candidate in the country, Harris has spent most of Biden’s term in the shadows, lacking a strong political base, and polls suggesting she has no better chance of winning than the incumbent president. Yet in the span of a month, she has managed to unite the quarreling party, is drawing crowds to Democratic rallies that have not been seen for a long time, and has a real chance of becoming the first woman to serve as president of the United States.
