Early symptoms of diabetes

1- Hunger and fatigue

The body converts the food that is eaten into glucose, for cells to use for energy, through the hormone insulin secreted by beta cells in the pancreas.

If the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or the body resists it, glucose cannot reach the cells, leading to constant feelings of hunger and fatigue.

2- Frequent urination with thirst

If you urinate more than 7 times throughout the day, this is evidence of diabetes, because when the blood sugar rises, the kidneys try to lower it by producing more urine, which leads to a feeling of extreme thirst.

3- Dryness with itchy skin

Frequent urination resulting from diabetes causes the body to lose a lot of fluids, exposing it to the risk of dehydration, which negatively affects skin health, as it increases the feeling of skin itching.
