Recognized media: Americans are considering buying into AaB

On Tuesday, there were rumors in the Swedish media that AaB coach Oscar Hiljemark might be considered for a coaching job in Elfsborg. However, that is not the only interesting rumor that abounds regarding AaB.

The large American media Bloomberg has also mentioned SSE22 and AaB in an article.

Unfortunately, the news regarding SSE22’s takeover of power in AaB is a reality before new stories regarding a possible American investor see the light of day.

It is the recognized American media Bloomberg, which in an article says that negotiations are allegedly ongoing between SSE22 and the people behind the MLS club Philadelphia Union.

Bloomberg also states in the article that Philadelphia Union should be one of several parties that should be interested in buying into SSE22. It may in fact be some of the people who were mentioned in connection with SSE22’s increased involvement in AaB.

The connection between SSE22 and the Philadelphia Union may already have resulted in the American camp being among the investors who helped back SSE22’s takeover of AaB.

The story from Bloomberg does not report anything regarding that. However, Philadelphia Union was not mentioned among the investors in connection with SSE22’s redemption of the warrants, which ultimately increase the company’s shareholding in AaB A/S to 50.5 percent.

An obvious relationship has already been established between AaB and the Philadelphia Union. Richard Odada is on loan at the MLS club.

In Bloomberg’s article, it appears that the media has been in contact with an unnamed spokesperson from the MLS club.

“We are always evaluating international opportunities and possible partnerships to expand our sports involvement and expertise,” said a spokesman for the Philadelphia Union, which is owned by real estate agent Jay Sugarman.

Nordjyske is trying to get a comment from SSE22.
