Reckless Truck Driver Causes Chaos in Tangerang: Multiple Vehicles Hit and Injuries Reported

Reckless Truck Driver in Tangerang – A Comedy of Errors!

Ah, it’s not often we get to witness a live-action version of a video game gone wrong, but it seems Cikokol to Cipondoh has taken those dodgy driving skills to a whole new level! Our friend JFN, a 24-year-old truck driver (or should we say kernet?), decided that following GPS directions were a *suggestion* rather than a requirement.

From Bogor to Bedlam

Picture this: A truck loaded with medical equipment, originally meant for a calm journey to Bogor, suddenly veers off to create absolute chaos in Tangerang. It’s like buying a ticket to a romantic film, but ending up in a horror flick instead! JFN apparently mistook the local traffic lights for a simple pause in the action, and… well, let’s just say things escalated quickly.

Just a Small Fender Bender… or Not?

In a classic case of *panic mode engaged*, our hero rear-ended a Suzuki Ertiga at a traffic light, then deduced that the best course of action was to flee. Now, fleeing after a collision is usually not recommended—unless, of course, your goal is to become the star of a very chaotic episode of “Police Chase Pranks!” This wasn’t just a bump-and-run; JFN was tearing through the streets like he thought he was auditioning for the next *Fast & Furious* installment!

Mobs, Injuries, and a Truckload of Trouble

After JFN decided that driving through a crowd sounded like a decent game plan, the residents of Cipondoh weren’t too thrilled. A mob formed, ready to give him a hearty welcome at the Tugu Adipura Roundabout. As it turns out, yelling “Stop!” doesn’t quite work the same way when you’re hurtling down the road in a truck. Six people ended up injured – a motorcycle rider, a car driver, a pedestrian, and four other unlucky individuals caught in this unbelievable driving spectacle.

The Mystery of the Missing Driver

But wait, there’s a twist! Turns out JFN wasn’t even the main driver; he was just the assistant! It’s like finding out the villain in a blockbuster film was just the sidekick all along. The original driver of the truck vanished like a magician, leaving only chaos and confusion behind. Talk about a disappearing act!

Route? What Route?

Following the epic disaster, police investigations revealed that the truck had been on a completely different mission. Loaded up with medical supplies from Pasuruan, they were supposed to be en route to a different destination entirely—good luck convincing the police of that during the chase! It’s like ordering pizza and ending up with a kale salad. Not cool, JFN!

Conclusion: The Aftermath

So now, as JFN recovers in the hospital (and presumably is entertained by his own antics), we’re left with the hard questions. What really happened on that fateful day? Was it just a case of reckless driving or a traffic version of a comedy of errors? Whatever it was, it’s a safe bet that JFN will think twice before turning down a shortcut again.

And let’s be honest, Tangerang City Metro Police Chief Commissioner Zain Dwi Nugroho probably needs a vacation after dealing with this circus. Remember, folks, whenever you’re behind the wheel, keep it between the lines—unless you’re aiming for an all-time classic escapade!

Tangerang

The police have unveiled critical new information regarding the actions of a reckless truck driver whose vehicle violently collided with multiple cars in Cipondoh, Tangerang City. The truck, initially destined for Bogor in West Java, deviated from its intended route, leading to chaos in the streets of Tangerang.

The reckless driving incident, which caused significant damage and injuries, transpired on Thursday (31/10) in the afternoon. The Wing Box truck, operated by JFN (24), was traveling from Cikokol towards Cipondoh when it slammed into the rear of a Suzuki Ertiga, which was halted at a traffic light heading towards the Kodim area.

In a panic after the initial collision, JFN allegedly attempted to flee the scene, speeding through Cipondoh as local residents pursued him to Jl KH Hasyim Ashari. During this chaotic escape, the truck struck a motorcyclist, exacerbating the already dangerous situation.

Rather than stopping after the collisions, JFN made a desperate bid to escape despite having already damaged several vehicles. His attempt was thwarted when vigilant residents managed to corner him at the Tugu Adipura Roundabout in Cipondoh, where he faced an aggressive mob.

In total, six individuals sustained injuries from the incident: four motorcyclists, one car driver, and one pedestrian. Additionally, a staggering 16 vehicles were reported damaged as a direct result of the truck’s reckless behavior.

Following the incident, JFN was subjected to a mob attack after crashing into multiple vehicles on the road. At present, he is receiving treatment in a hospital and remains unable to answer any questions regarding the incident.

“(The driver) cannot be questioned yet. (His condition) is conscious, but not yet stable,” stated Tangerang City Metro Police Chief Commissioner Zain Dwi Nugroho in a statement to detikcom on Saturday (2/11).

Investigation results revealed that JFN was not the truck’s original driver; rather, he was merely a kernet. The identity and whereabouts of the actual truck driver are currently unknown.

Truck Departs from Pasuruan

Authorities confirmed that the Wing Box truck, which was involved in the reckless incident, had originated from Pasuruan, East Java. Despite being scheduled to reach Bogor, the vehicle instead ended up in Tangerang City, leading to devastating consequences.

Explaining further, Tangerang City Metro Police Chief Commissioner Zain Dwi Nugroho stated that the box truck belonged to PT BT, which had been rented by PT SAI. However, the individual behind the wheel during the incident was not its legitimate driver, but rather a kernet.

“The wing box vehicle from PT BT rented by PT SAI was loaded with medical equipment in Pasuruan, East Java, on 28 October 2024, destined for PT PPI on Jalan Tan Malaka, East Jakarta,” Commissioner Zain clarified in his statement to reporters on Saturday (2/11/2024).

Route Not Matching Destination

On October 31, 2024, at around 10:00 WIB, unloading of the goods commenced, with the entire process wrapping up by 13:00 WIB.

“Subsequently, the PT BT coordinator instructed the truck to proceed to Bogor to load additional goods,” he added.

However, after completing unloading on Jalan Tan Malaka, East Jakarta, the vehicle’s course was diverted, leading to its fateful journey to Tangerang instead of Bogor.
