As our colleagues from Het Laatste Niews tell, the Ghent police had to crack down on a fairly undisciplined driver.
Last Thursday and Friday, the driver drove recklessly in Wondelgem. To prevent the situation from degenerating, the police were called to the rescue by worried residents. “He sometimes came close to an accident. He was really using the streets as a racetrack.”
After being in turn dangerously overtaken by the vehicle in question, the police immobilized the Audi using safety pliers: “He will have to expect a heavy fine”.
