Reception in Rabat in honor of the maqdessis children participating in the 13th edition of summer camps

During this reception, which took place in the presence of the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid and the director in charge of the management of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency, Mohamed Salem Cherkaoui, the Maqdessis children carried out a symbolic operation of “watering” the olive trees of Al-Quds and visited the exhibition “Al-Quds and Palestine in the messages and speeches of HM King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful ”.

This ceremony was also marked by the presentation of certificates of participation to the 50 girls and boys participating in this 13th edition of summer camps, organized by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, under the sign “Édition d’Al Inbiâat”.

In a speech for the occasion, Mr. Bensaid underlined that these holiday camps reflect the high solicitude with which the King, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, surrounds the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people, highlighting, at the same time, the secular and historical Moroccan-Palestinian relations.

The Minister also underlined that this visit to Morocco was an opportunity for the Maqdessis children to discover the civilizational richness of the Kingdom and to see firsthand the all-out development experienced by its different cities.

For his part, Mr. Salem Cherkaoui affirmed that the actions carried out by King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, in favor of the holy city and its inhabitants are one of the manifestations of the unshakeable determination of the Moroccan people. , resolutely committed to supporting and defending the causes of the Umma.

In this sense, he wanted to salute the positive impact of this humanitarian social program on children and their families with regard to the opportunities it offers them for entertainment, noting that the success of these summer camps is measured by the strong demand from maqdessie families to enroll their children there.

For his part, Ismail Jouiless, one of the maqdessis children benefiting from these summer camps, expressed, in a statement to MAP, his great joy at having taken part in this edition, which enabled him to take knowledge of the rich culture and civilization of Morocco and to witness the love that the Moroccan people have for Palestine and the city of Al Quds.

The 13th edition of summer camps for the benefit of maqdessis children, which benefited 50 girls and boys aged between 11 and 15, is organized from August 12 to 25 by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency.
