The official of the Khalifa Neighborhood Reporting Room told Sky News Arabia that he had received a report of the collapse of a property at 6 Al Madrasa Lane on Al Mahjar Street within the Khalifa neighborhood in Cairo.
He explained that the concerned authorities were notified, and the Civil Defense, Rescue and Ambulance Forces moved to remove the rubble and search for victims.
He noted that the detailed data on the property has not been received yet, but preliminary statements say that it consists of 3 floors and a ground floor and that it is an old property.
This comes only 24 hours following the disaster of the collapse of a 5-storey building in Hadayek al-Qubba, northeast of Cairo, with 13 dead and one injured.
It also comes two days following the collapse of a property in Alexandria, leaving 3 dead and one injured, and the collapse of a property in Buhaira, leaving two dead.
