A HBO Max announced the start of recording of his new documentary series. In this sense, the production aims to tell the story of Iran Ferreirathe 21-year-old influencer who became popular around the world as “Bricklayer Glove“. Adriana Cechetti is director of Non-Fiction Content Production at Warner Bros. Discovery and I comment on the news:

Luva de Pedreiro is already an iconic character in Brazilian digital culture, a worldwide phenomenon, and we believe it is very important to tell the story of Iran, which is an inspiration for many Brazilians

In total, the production will have three episodes and will be recorded in four locations: Tabua, a village located in the backlands of Bahia, Recife, São Paulo and Paris. Additionally, the series will feature exclusive documentary footage, special interviews and archival materials.

For those who don’t know, Iran became famous after posting short football videos on a field in his hometown. In addition to scoring several goals while practicing his kicks, the 21-year-old also said phrases like “Rebeba!”, which also became popular among fans and other content creators.

According to HBO Max, the documentary series will not only tell the influencer’s story, but will also portray the behind-the-scenes of the international digital influencer industry. Likewise, the reason why big brands in the world invest in an anonymous boy from the interior of Bahia will also be addressed in the series.

The launch of the work is scheduled for 2024 and will be produced by Beyond Films, which is owned by former player Ronaldo Fenômeno. Finally, check out the arrival of the series inspired by the Twisted Metal game to the service’s catalog and the making of the recently published The Last Of Us game series.
