O Central Bank of Brazil reopened this Tuesday (28) the System of Receivable Values (SVR) platform for queries regarding possible amounts “forgotten” by Brazilians in banks. At the moment, the mechanism will only inform you whether or not there is any amount to be withdrawn.

Already the value is the next steps will only be released on March 7thfrom 10 am. The query can be made on the website of the Central Bank. Currently, around BRL 6 billion are available for 38 million CPFs and 2 million CNPJs.

According to BC, the Receivable Values System (SVR) will bring “important news such as screen printing, virtual waiting room and consultation of deceased person values”. The query can be made on the website of the Central Bank (in this link).

At another time, the person who has receivables is informed regarding the amount itself, and later he can request to transfer all the money to a new active account. The platform allows you to consult the values of:

  • Closed checking or savings accounts with an available balance;
  • Capital quotas and apportionment of net surpluses of former members of credit unions;
  • Unsought resources from closed consortium groups;
  • Unduly charged fees;
  • Installments or expenses of credit operations charged;
  • Closed pre- or post-paid payment accounts with an available balance;
  • Registration accounts held by brokerage and dealerships closed with an available balance;
  • Other resources available at institutions for return.

Watch out for blows!

It is worth noting that it is good to be careful not to fall into scams. BC does not recommend clicking on suspicious links sent by email, SMS, WhatsApp or Telegram, nor making any type of payment to access the values, since the redemption is 100% free.

Another point to be highlighted is that no institution responsible for the system asks the user to provide personal information or passwords to release the money. Therefore, any behavior with these signs is a scam.
