Do not eat: A snack manufacturer currently has to initiate a recall from Edeka, dm and Globus. There is a risk to health.

Dortmund – As part of a recently announced measure, the manufacturer KoRo has recalled a snack (February 22nd). This step occurred due to a production error. Some packs were accidentally filled incorrectly. This mix-up resulted in incorrect labeling of the allergens on the affected products. Consumption is unsafe for consumers with a hazelnut allergy.

The product concerned can be identified by hazelnut pieces in the chocolate instead of the expected red berry pieces. The product is sold by the producer KoRo, who is particularly well known for nutrition-conscious consumers. The snack can be purchased in the online shop called KoRo Pharmacy.

KoRo already made a manufacturing error last year. Specifically, it was about the product “Organic NUT BUTTER CUPS salted Pistachio” being filled incorrectly. People with a cashew allergy had to be particularly careful about the recalled candy.

At the request of RUHR24, the company KoRo informed that the product is available from dm, Globus and Edeka. All partners were informed about the recall (more supermarket topics on RUHR24).

“Chocolate Bar Berries” is being recalled for reasons of preventive consumer protection

For “reasons of preventive consumer protection,” the manufacturer KoRo has recalled the product “Chocolate Bar Berries,” according to the press release. If, among other things, there is a suspicion that “a food may pose risks to human health,” the consumer advice center writes that food must be recalled.
