The great Achaean composer Evanthia Reboutsika was met on television by her father’s musician and theologian, Panagiotis Ant. Andriopoulos, in a show that was broadcast by state television and caused laudatory comments!

Specifically, on the evening of M. Paraskevi on ERT3 and on the show “Art week”, Lena Aroni met the musician Evanthia Reboutsika inside the Holy Church of Agios Georgios in Neo Psychiko.

The show had a special personality, since the artist from Kato Achaia, shared her thoughts regarding faith, love, forgiveness, life’s trials, betrayal, hope.

It was indeed a captivating show, as Rebuchika “tied” melodies of her own composition, with psalms combined with the sound of the moving canon.

The master Panos Dimitrakopoulos, who has lived in Aigio for many years, played the canon.

The paternal theologian and musician Panagiotis Ant. Andriopoulos, who is lead singer at the Holy Church of St. Georgiou Neo Psychikos, she collaborated with Evanthia Repoutsika, accompanying her own compositions with psalms of the Holy Week.

It was something that, as Reboutsika herself said in her interview, particularly moves her as it fits perfectly with the spirit of the days of the Divine Drama, while at the same time she emphasized how much she is moved by the overwhelming hymns of Holy Week, as her father was a cantor in Kato Achaia.
