ACTRESS who plays Wati in the film Sakaratul Maut, Della Dartyan, admitted to pursuing a hobby that is quite adrenaline-pumping, namely rock climbing. Della said that rock climbing activities have their own satisfaction when you can reach the goal above.
“When climbing the challenge is when we can reach the top, it’s a challenge in itself, there is satisfaction,” he said during a media visit to the ANTARA Heritage Center in Jakarta, Friday (12/7). Della said when climbing a cliff, there is a challenge in itself, especially if the terrain is quite difficult, such as the Citatah Cliff in West Bandung which has difficult terrain so that it takes regarding 30 minutes to climb to the top.
But when going down the cliff, it also became another excitement that Della felt because she felt like she was flying when sliding down. “In Citatah, it can take half an hour to get to the top. The descent did not take 10 minutes, even 5 minutes because I was sliding. The descent might fly. It was also exciting,” she said.
In addition to climbing, Della also has another hobby that is no less adrenaline-pumping, namely diving. According to her, diving is when she cleanses herself like a meditation activity. It makes her feel much better because she can talk to herself.
Whether climbing or diving, Della can’t choose because of her love for both outdoor activities. “Climbing is like meditating, talking to myself. For me, diving is like cleansing myself, almost like meditation. If you dive, you enter a quiet underwater world. Both make us know ourselves much better,” said Della.
Della also often shares her experiences while climbing mountains both in Indonesia and abroad and beautiful photos underwater when she poses with the sea animals she finds. (Ant/Z-2)
