This weekend the show “Always Sundays” with Stefan Mross will take a break. ARD explains the reasons for this change in the program schedule.

Rust – In the warm summer months, “Always Sundays” is an integral part of the weekend television program for many Schlager fans. In each episode, Stefan Mross (47) welcomes renowned hit artists and up-and-coming talents to his Rulantica water park. But this Sunday the colorful entertainment will be canceled and even at the end of the month once more. What is the reason for this change? The ARD provides the explanation.

Due to sports broadcasts: “Always Sundays” will not be broadcast twice in July

Whether heavy rain showers, an unusual appearance by “Bergdoktor” star Mark Keller (58) or Stefan Mross falling into the water – the current season of “Always Again on Sundays” has already delivered many unforgettable moments. Unfortunately, those who are already looking forward to the next episodes will have to do without the popular ARD show on two weekends this month. On July 9th and 30th, “Always Sundays” will be completely canceled.

In response to a request from IPPEN.MEDIA, ARD program director Christine Gandré explained the reason for the double break from “Always Again on Sundays”. Sports broadcasts are planned on the first two days: “The Finals” on July 9th and the Women’s Soccer World Cup on July 30th.

The ZDF television garden, which delivers a hard-fought ratings race with “Immer wieder Sundays” every weekend, will be broadcast as planned on July 9th, but will be postponed to the followingnoon on July 30th due to a game by the German women’s national soccer team.

The “Always Sundays” broadcast dates 2023

Episode 8: July 16

Episode 9: July 23

Episode 10: August 6th

Episode 11: August 13

Episode 12: August 27th

Best-of-Episode: 3. September

No broadcasts on July 9th and 30th: Not the first failure for “Immer wieder Sundays” this year

Andrea Kiewel (58) and the Fernsehgarten have always been on the air as scheduled since the start of the season on May 7th, while Stefan Mross has had to take a break several times. On May 28th there was no new episode of the cult show due to the broadcast of a Pentecost Sunday service and on June 11th Schlager fans were left without a new episode due to another service. As a look at the broadcast dates of this year shows, “Always Sundays” seems to be suspended once more on August 20th.
