Reason Studios launches Reason 12 beta with VST3 support and announces its Black Friday

It is no secret that in Reason Studios They’re not being the quickest to add VST3 support and native M1 processor support to their flagship product. In fact, according to a roadmap published at the beginning of 2021 by the company itself, both functions should have arrived almost a year ago, but the company’s plans were somewhat frustrated due to certain problems that were emerging in version 12 of Reason and that required postponing the aforementioned roadmap in exchange for improving the performance and stability of the program. Now its users will be happy to know that at least one of those two soap operas is already close to coming to an end with the announcement by the Swedes of a last beta version with support for VST3 plugins. And it is that, in general, when Reason Studios (formerly Propellerheads) launches a version of this type, it does not usually take long before the final version reaches its users.

Those who have a Reason 12 license or an active Reason+ subscription can sign up for the beta through this link. Regarding support for Apple Silicon, we still have to wait a little longer.
