Pendant le Realms Deep 2023, RetroSpace said a little hello by sharing a new teaser, still punctuated by disco music. We discovered it somewhat by chance at the beginning of the year, and the concept was intriguing: it intends to mix retro-FPS, horror, humor and immersive-sim in a disco-punk universe, with universe stories parallels and time travel. The developers promise us that we can choose to play full infiltration, or on the contrary, to destroy opponents in packs of twelve. We can also see, in this new video, that it is possible to electrocute a humanoid insect (unless it is an insectoid human?) by pulling on a control panel, or to detach their head with a good shot from a shotgun.
We obviously feel a strong inspiration from System Shockespecially with this retro aesthetic, but the very pronounced artistic direction retro-futuristic from the 70s seems pretty good. We should probably be able to test the beast at one point or another, because a demo is plannedbut no date has yet been announced.
No date for the game’s release either, but in the meantime, if RetroSpace interests you, you can add it to your wish list from on the Steam page.
