The Chinese smartphone maker Realme launches its new gaming phone, the GT Neo 3, on Tuesday. The Chinese company shared the specifications of the new phone with the public via the Chinese “Weibo” website, and promised that it will come with unique characteristics and will provide a super powerful performance, targeting young people in the first place.
As for the design, specifications and settings, the phone features a new design inspired by the “Le Mans” race track. The company said that the new phone features a 6.7-inch ultra-high-definition AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1000Hz touch sampling rate, in addition to support for the “HDR10+” feature.
The upcoming gaming smartphone is powered by a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The phone is expected to come in two variants with a different battery capacity; 4500mAh with 150W fast charging and 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
According to multiple images posted by realme on Weibo, the new phone features a triple camera module with LED flash. It was confirmed that the camera setup includes a “Sony IMX766” primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support.
As a gaming smartphone, the Realme GT Neo 3 offers 4D game vibration and will also come with a total heat dissipation area of 39,606 square mm and a 3D tempered vapor chamber or 4,129 mm VC cooling space.
In addition, the phone features the 150W UltraDart fast charging technology that was presented by Realme at the “MWC 2022” that was held late last month in Barcelona, Spain.
The company claimed that the “GT Neo 3” phone fills 50% of the battery with just a 5-minute charge. The phone will also have Dolby Atmos support and is claimed to be lightweight by the company, with a thickness of 8.22 mm and a weight of 188 grams.
Realme did not share more details regarding specifications, performance and pricing, but it announced that it will hold a launch event for the new phone in China today, Tuesday, at 2 pm local time.
