In an official statement released on its social networks, realme confirmed the end of the Techlife brand for smart products and connected devices. Like this, all novelties must now be launched within the Narzo line.
This change is happening gradually, and it should unify the service channels and even the social networks of the two lines, something that creates greater internal synergy.
In addition, all new IoT products must now hit the market with the Narzo brand stamped on them, while packaging and manuals must also be changed.
Despite the change, realme points out that nothing should change for the average consumer, since he will continue to buy all IoT products on his official website. That is, the sales channels will be the same.
However, unfortunately it is not yet clear what will happen to the DIZO brand. This is because it was subordinated to realme’s Techlife ecosystem and there is still no movement for it to also be incorporated by Narzo.
For now, the manufacturer does not provide further details regarding the changes, but this unexpected announcement shows that realme is promoting a downsizing of brands following a rapid expansion.
