Realme 10 Pro + gets CQC certification with 5000mAh battery

According to recent leaks, Realme is already preparing the terrain for the new Realme 10 series. The new entry in the numbered mid-range series will be released soon. Today, and the highest offering in the series, the Realme 10 Pro+ was recently certified by NBTC in Thailand with the model number RMX3686. Now, the device has Passed successfully Chinese Quality Certificate (CQC).

CQC certification confirms that Realme 10 Pro+ comes with a battery capacity of 4,890 mAh. It may end up with a typical capacity of 5000 mAh. Of course, Realme will likely use the latter for marketing purposes. However, we can say that the 10 Pro + will join the gang of phones with 5000mAh batteries.

Realme is one of the leaders in fast charging technology in the mid-range category. As a reminder, the Realme 7 Pro was the first, if not the first, mid-range phone to offer 65W charging. Therefore, we can expect the Realme 10 Pro + to have a good fast charging speed for this capacity. At the moment, we don’t know the exact speed, but we can bet anything between 50W and 150W.

Realme 10 Pro + specifications

Realme 10 Pro + is likely to retain the AMOLED display of its predecessor. This panel may have a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a resolution of Full HD +. According to rumors, the new device will be packing the recently released Dimensity 1080 SoC. We can expect variants with 6 GB, 8 GB and possibly 12 GB of RAM. Storage will likely be between 128GB and 256GB.

For those unaware, Dimensity 1080 is a revamp of the Dimensity 920. It offers 2 x ARM Cortex-A78 cores and 6 x ARM Cortex-A55 cores. Graphical tasks are ensured by the Mali-G68 GPU. Realme 10 Pro+ may also bring back the color changing design of its predecessor. In terms of software, it is likely to run Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 running on top.

We expect more details to emerge in the coming weeks. Besides Realme 10 Pro+, the brand is also working on vanilla and regular Pro. Vanilla is a simple 4G smartphone and will pack a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC.
