With the potential design of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 just released, @OnLeaks is continuing the renders to now show off Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip6 which is expected this summer. Here are all the details.
Well before the official presentation, @OnLeaks used his X account and site Smartprix.com to publish the alleged visuals of the next folding mobile clamshell model Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6. This only a few hours following posting equivalent images of the next model in book format Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 online.
According to renderings published on the site and on the profile of @OnLeaks, a particularly knowledgeable person, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 offers a refined aesthetic and would have a Lavender shade, like its predecessor. However, the finish seems slightly more sober. In particular, we can see the presence of a internal screen which would be 6.7 inches and borders which are almost unchanged compared to the previous model.
The design of the Galaxy Z Flip6
The details reveal the location of the power button, also acting as a fingerprint reader, volume buttons and four antenna bands on the right frame. The top of the device accommodates two additional antenna bands and appears to integrate two microphones, compared to only one for the Galaxy Z Flip5. The SIM drawer maintains its position on the left frame, surrounded by other antenna bands. Things like the USB-C port, main speaker, and microphones, located at the bottom, remain similar to the Z Flip5. Unfolded, the phone displays dimensions of 165×71.7mm for 7.4mm thickness, indicating minor adjustments in length and width, while thethickness increases, suggesting an increase in battery capacity. 5K renders reveal the other side of the phone, showing a 3.4 inch cover screen and a dual camera layout similar to the Galaxy Z Flip5. There have been some rumors talking regarding larger screens but these do not seem to be confirmed if we are to believe this rendering.
The overall design and form factor of Samsung’s foldable devices appears to remain consistent, with very slight changes in measurements, demonstrating the brand’s cautious approach to design. Despite the rumors, the dimensions of the screens, both for the cover screen and for the interior screen, should remain identical to those of the Flip 5, with a 120Hz refresh rate and maximum brightness maintained.
What technical sheet for the Galaxy Z Flip6?
Under the hood, the Flip 6 should be equipped with chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, accompanied by various RAM and storage configurations. The smartphone would also integrate AI features from the Galaxy S24 series, with capabilities specific to foldable models.
The One UI 6.0 operating system, based on Android 14, and a set of dual 12-megapixel cameras are planned. A significant improvement in battery capacity is also expected, i.e. 4000 mAh once morest 3700 mAh on the current model.
