However, 10 minutes were lost in the works leaving Daussoulx.

Almost fluid traffic on the Brussels outer ring road between Waterloo and Carrefour Léonard.

Indoors, you slow down for 15 minutes between Expo and Machelen in the direction of Zaventem.

In Brussels, good news, the Rogier and Botanique Tunnels are reopened towards the south.

08:43 Slowdowns in Namur, Liège and Charleroi

Some problems accessing Namur this morning whether you are coming from the Nationale 4 (+ 25 min) or the Nationale 91 (+30 min) or even the Nationale 92 coming from Dinant (+ 15 min).

In Liège, you slow down for 10 minutes on the E25 between Wandre and Bressoux in the direction of Liège.

08:19 Tunnels closed in Brussels

A vehicle with a broken basket caused the closure of the Rogier and Botanique tunnels towards the Midi, the Brussels Mobility regional agency announced this Friday morning. Around 8:00 a.m., long lines were seen from the Koekelberg Basilica following this incident.

The travel time is extended by almost half an hour between Basilica and Madou due to the traffic jams caused by these closures, specifies Brussels Mobility. “The surface lights have been modified between Yser and Madou to increase capacity, and reduced at Basilique to slow down entry into the city,” Camille Thiry, spokesperson for Brussels Mobility, told Belga.

The tunnels will be able to reopen as soon as the vehicle is repaired.

08:10 Update on the roads

Good news in Brussels: The accident in the Strombeek-Bever interchange between the outer ring and the A12 has been cleared.

On the other hand, some traffic problems in the center with the Rogier and Botanique Tunnels which are still closed towards the south.

08:00 The situation in transport

The TEC announces the resumption of numerous bus lines following two days of disruptions on the Walloon public transport network. On the SNCB side, delays and cancellations remain possible due to winter conditions.

If all lines are running once more in the province of Luxembourg, the situation is more contrasted in the province of Namur, where around fifty buses are not running this Friday morning while all the other lines are experiencing diversions.

In the province of Liège, around forty lines are interrupted and most of the others also face diversions.

In the Charleroi region, there are around fifteen buses in circulation, while the metro continues to run. In the rest of Hainaut, most of the lines remain at a standstill in Mons-Borinage and in the Center, with diversions on other lines in circulation. In western Hainaut, stops remain limited, but deviations are still numerous.

On the SNCB side, the disruptions are more limited. Trains are running at reduced speed on the Kortrijk-Zottegem line, a train broke down between Mechelen and Zaventem and a switch broke down between Tongeren and Hasselt: all incidents which can lead to delays and cancellations.

A traffic that has nothing to compare with that of yesterday. We still remain in a heightened vigilance phase and we will be wary this morning of patches of ice or hard snow, or even freezing fog in places.

Two accidents occurred on the E40 near Tienen, one in each direction. There remains only the one in the direction of Liège near the Tirlemont car park. Traffic is driven through the emergency lane.
