Three games, three wins: Real Madrid’s dream start in the league
VIGO. After beating Athletic Club 2-0 and beating UD Almería 3-1, Real Madrid also defeated Celta Vigo on Matchday 3. Blancos have thus made a perfect start to the new LaLiga season. The Madrilenians had a hard time away at the Estadio Balaídos on Celta’s 100th birthday.
Los Blancos got off to a mixed start, lucky with a goal annulled and unlucky with the early substitution of Vinícius Júnior. Kepa makes debut – otherwise no surprises

Bellingham heads Real Madrid to victory
The second half started where the first left off: Real Madrid now seemed dominant, but they still lacked offensive power. It wasn’t until the 62nd minute that Celta really came under pressure. Rodrygo moved into the penalty area and placed it in the center of Bellingham. As the Englishman had problems with the acceptance, the approaching Valverde took aim – but missed the post to the left.
Rodrygo was through just a few minutes later but was brought down by Iván Villar in the penalty area. Real Madrid were awarded a penalty, the fouled Rodrygo stepped up himself and placed the ball to the left – but Villar stretched out and held the zero for Celta (68th). The Galicians seemed insurmountable that Friday night. But then Bellingham’s golden moment was to come. After a corner by substitute Toni Kroos, Joselu extended the ball to the Englishman, who headed the ball behind the line from close range and gave the Madrilenians a late lead (81′). The newcomer, who cost over 100 million euros, also scored the winning goal and his fourth goal in the third LaLiga game.
