The words of the coaches

Pep Guardiola, Man City
We mightn’t have come up once morest a stronger opponent, but that’s the whole point of this challenge. We will have to do better than at the Bernabéu. There is emotion, but you will have to ignore it to perform.

We are going to play one of the most important matches since my arrival. It’s clear. I told the players to enjoy it. We are incredibly lucky to experience this. We have our destiny in our hands. One victory, and we are in the final.

Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid
There are some things we can do better than on the way out. We are extremely motivated, we are expecting a difficult match, but hopefully this will allow us to show our best side.

The Champions League remains a special competition for Real. We all know the history of this club in this competition. My players are going to have to read the game effectively tomorrow. They should expect to suffer at times, it’s perfectly normal in this type of match. We will have to be efficient during our strong moments.
