Brazilian Vinicius Jr., striker of the Spanish football team Real Madrid, bid farewell to his French colleague Karim Benzema, who will leave the ranks of the royal team at the end of the current season.
Real Madrid had announced the departure of Benzema from the ranks of the team, following a long journey for the French star that began in 2009 when he joined the club from Lyon, France, and his contract expires at the end of this month.
Vinicius wrote through his account on the “Instagram” photo-sharing platform: Benzvini, Venzima, whatever. The outcome was always the same: goals, laughter, titles and, above all, learning.
He added: When I arrived from Brazil to Madrid in 2018 as a teenager, and I am very shy, you were the first to receive me. I will never forget that.
And the Brazilian star continued: I grew up with you. We’ve won La Liga, the Champions League and the Club World Cup together. And I was able to applaud you when you won the Ballon d’Or.
Vinicius concluded his message to Benzema, saying: We will miss you greatly, thank you for everything, legend.
During his presence at Real Madrid since 2009, Benzema succeeded in winning the Champions League five times and the Spanish League four times, and he also won the King’s Cup three times, the Spanish Super Cup three times, the European Super Cup four times and the Club World Cup five times.
