Real Madrid opened the door to a prominent player, during the era of former coach Zinedine Zidane, according to a press report.
According to the Spanish “Cuatro” program, Real Madrid officials do not insist on the survival of the French left-back, Ferland Mendy.
The program said that the royal club will listen to the offers made to Mendy, during the next summer transfer period, as the player will be sold if he receives an offer of 50 million euros.
He highlighted that Mendy was subjected to a lot of criticism, this season, because of the mistakes he made.
The Frenchman had arrived at Real Madrid, at a special request from Zidane, but he became unprotected following the departure of his compatriot, and the contract with Italian Carlo Ancelotti.
Cuatro revealed that the Real Madrid officials are impressed by what the young player, Miguel Gutierrez, is offering, and he may be relied upon in the left-back position.
