Madrid: Spanish club Real Madrid have signed French club Monaco young midfielder Aurelian Chaumeni into their squad. This is Real’s first move in the transfer window.
The 22-year-old was sacked by Real Madrid for more than 100 million euros. Real Madrid have won the Champions League, beating PSG, Liverpool and Manchester United.
This season’s stellar performance for Monaco, who finished third in the French league, put Chaumeni on the radar of other European clubs. He played 35 games for the club, scoring three goals.
Chaumeni has also been a regular on Didier Deschamps’ France national team since his performance.
