The Spanish club Real Madrid entered into the struggle to sign the young Englishman Jude Bellingham, the star of Borussia Dortmund, who is being sought following by Man United, Liverpool and Chelsea.
And the English newspaper “Daily Mail” said that Real Madrid had entered into advanced talks to sign the player and was preparing a huge offer of 100 million euros to win the deal.
The England international has been on Real Madrid’s shortlist for more than a year, with Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea also linked with the 19-year-old.
And according to the Spanish newspaper, “Marca”, that Dortmund will agree to give up Bellingham in the summer in the event that he receives the compensation of 100 million euros.
Real Madrid believes that Bellingham is the complementary piece to determine his midfield, following he brought in the two talents Aurelien Chuamini and Eduardo Camavinga in the past two seasons to succeed Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Casemiro, who led the royal midfield last decade.
The 19-year-old has talent and maturity beyond his years – he turned up on Wednesday night when he led Borussia Dortmund to a 4-1 Champions League victory.
Bellingham became the first teenager in Champions League history to score in three consecutive matches, the first English teenager to start a game as captain of their team in the competition and the youngest captain to score in a Champions League match.
He has made 102 appearances for Dortmund and scored 14 goals since joining Germany for €30m from Birmingham in 2020.
