MADRID – Real Madrid legend Francisco “Paco” Gento has died at the age of 88. This was announced by his long-standing football club on Tuesday. Gento, who started his career with Racing Santander, joined Los Blancos in 1953 and played in the Spanish capital for 18 years until his retirement in 1971. He is the only player to date to have won six European Cups. He also won twelve league titles during his time at Real.
