Real Madrid achieves a long-suffering victory against Granada with a great goal from Asensio

Madrid Spain.

A goal by Marco Asensio, with a shot from outside the area in the 74th minute, gave Real Madrid the three points once morest Granada (1-0) for matchday 23 of the Santander League.

Marco Asensio’s sixth goal in the league served Real Madrid to give a step closer to the title, react fairly to cup removal and close a bad dynamic of four points out of a possible nine in 2022.

He is the only player who assumes goalscoring stripes when the great referents are missing, Karim Benzema and Vinicius.

On the leaderboard, the Real Madrid is the leader with 53 points while its immediate pursuer is Sevilla with 47 points. The advantage now is six points.

Actions

That the leader of the League has been lowering his intimidating factor is a reality. As effective once morest the greats of the championship as it is irregular once morest teams that are in other battles.

There was no lack of will, but without the electricity of ‘Vini’ and the magic of Benzema, everything becomes predictable. Just a feint from Rodrygo, a long shot from Asensio, Isco’s attempts to achieve an impossible, get closer to the relevance of a 9 like Karim.

Despite the fact that their first objective was to avoid the madridista reaction, Granada was also able to cause damage with speed. Antonio Puertas forgave the first at the start, Uzuni was innocent in the definition five minutes before the break and Neva did not find a door in an action that ended the patience of the stands.

Warning whistles and boredom.

great goal

The Bernabéu likes vertigo and takes a nap when his team does not step on the rival area frequently. Since Asensio tested Maximiano’s reliability from a low point in the thirteenth minute, they spent 18 minutes of torpor until they woke up with a cross from Carvajal that deflected Neva to the crossbar of his own goal.

It gave way to a run of three arrivals in a minute with Rodrygo firing into the side of the net and Kroos caressing the crossbar.

Rodrygo, still unpublished in the League, looked for him without success, and Asensio threw the team behind him. He despaired when Maximiano took a tight one to the post, unleashed when he invented a magical left foot to the net.

‘Carletto’ had already had to resort to Hazard and Jovic who entered plugged in, wanting to show that they suffer an injustice. After a corner, in a rebound that left the ball to Raba, Militao’s pressure caused it to be stolen and the ball was left dead to a long shot specialist.

Real Madrid had managed to get through a game without two essential players, had felt helpless and ended up feeling relieved that they had taken an important step.

With the wind in his favor he was able to increase the distance, Asensio signing a deserved double, but that was the least of it. With trade the trouble passed.
