The president of the Century 21 real estate agency network, Laurent Vimont, died suddenly on Friday March 11, the group announced in a press release.
A specialist in the stone market, he died following a heart attack at the age of 61. Laurent Vimont worked for the network of more than 900 agencies since 1987 and became its president in 2009. As such, he regularly appeared in the press to comment market trends.
Knight of the National Order of Merit, he had been made Knight of the Legion of Honor by President Nicolas Sarkozy. Laurent Vimont was also the father of five children.
Many personalities have paid tribute to him on social networks such as Emmanuelle Wargon, Minister Delegate for Housing, but also Denis Brogniart or Xavier de Moulins.
I learn with emotion the disappearance of Laurent Vimont.
He was a great professional, very respected, with whom I have always maintained a relationship of trust and high-quality cooperation.
All my thoughts go out to his family and loved ones. https://t.co/pvfQlh9sLN

@LaurentVimont was a rare and precious man
A lover of life
A fan
Boxing
of horses

He had a sense of panache
Endless generosity

I will miss him very much.
