Yesterday, the value of real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department amounted to one billion dirhams, as the department witnessed the registration of 428 pledges of allegiance, valued at 938.34 million dirhams, including 90 sales of land, with a value of 374.59 million dirhams, and 338 sales of apartments and villas, with a value of 563.75 million dirhams.
The most important land sales amounted to 24 million dirhams in the Seih Shuaib 2 area, followed by a pledge of 16 million dirhams in the Al-Markadh area.
Al-Habiya topped the fifth regions in terms of the number of pledges, with 61 pledges worth 135 million dirhams, followed by Al-Markadh, with 15 pledges, worth 144 million dirhams, according to Al Bayan newspaper.
With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, a pledge of 23 million dirhams in the Burj Khalifa area was the most important, followed by a pledge of 19 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area.
Al-Markadh topped the regions in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, as it recorded 42 pledges of 50 million dirhams, followed by the Dubai Marina area, with 35 pledges of 50 million dirhams.
Mortgages registered 123.42 million dirhams, including 9 mortgages of land, worth 24.42 million dirhams, and 50 mortgages of villas and apartments, worth 99 million dirhams, the most important of which is in Al Barsha South Al-Thaniya area, with a value of 15 million dirhams, and a mortgage in the Al-Markadh area with a value of 10 million dirhams. 9 donations worth 10.68 million dirhams were registered, the most important of which was in the Palm Jumeirah area with a value of 3 million dirhams and another in the Burj Khalifa area with a value of two million dirhams.
