real estate investments up 0.7% in the first quarter

Investment in real estate development rose 0.7 percent year on year in the first quarter of 2022, data released by the State Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed on Monday.

During this period, investment in real estate development reached regarding 2.78 trillion yuan (regarding 435.44 billion U.S. dollars), according to NBS data.

Investment in residential buildings rose 0.7 percent year on year to regarding 2.08 trillion yuan in the January-March period.
